365.25 Days - Are We There Yet?
Wednesday, December 31st, 2025
I’ve been called things you would never imagine. Don’t let that cloud the year. Three hundred and sixty five days, or like a nerd, 365.25. Long ride, eh?
This year, I cut off, made up, fought, saddled my horse, fought till sunset, jumped in happiness, and put my face down in sadness. I partied, sat in solitude, wrote, read, and watched. Honestly, not much of the last part.
One lesson I learned is the lesson of the mind. You have to guard your mind and ears with all your power. Don’t lose confidence. Don’t lose hope.
““Hold the fort, for I am coming, Jesus signals still.”
”
““Guard your heart, for out of it come the issues of life.”
”
The moment you think of yourself as a loser is the moment you start losing. Never think of yourself as a loser, but as a winner, someone who fought for everything they have, battled in the snow, crossed the Rubicon, and said, “Alea iacta est.”
Let them talk. Let the naysayers say what they want. Let the doubters, haters, the envious, the news peddlers. Remember, it’s their job to do this. Don’t change a thing. Don’t deprive a man of his job, lest you add to the unemployment statistics.
Do not be afraid to be ridiculous. Dostoevsky said, “Nowadays, almost all capable people are terribly afraid of being ridiculous, and are miserable because of it.” Pursue your heart’s desires with all your strength. One of the best pieces of advice I got this year was, “If you go club and drink cost, just comot drink plastic origin, come back club all high. Na high.” I swear, it was too funny and too real at the same time.
Let’s do better next year. Remember, the fight is to be better. Remember, you owe it to the world to be good. Always say the truth. Do right by everyone, even when no one is watching. Protect your space. Meet and make someone smile every day. 2026 is coming. Not next year. Tomorrow. Make that change today.
It’s the mad ones that dent the universe.
